Wattawa Heights Public School is a small school with a diverse community that provides a safe and positive environment for children to learn. Students are provided with a challenging curriculum emphasising literacy, numeracy and information technology within well resourced classrooms.
Our small size allows students more opportunities to be involved in performing arts, sports and gifted and talented programs. Our community values academic excellence that recognises progress, effort and achievement leading to lifelong learning; excellence in teaching through a commitment to continuous professional learning; equity for all through a fair share, fair go, fair say and fair content; diversity where the whole school community values and respects individuals and their beliefs; safe, happy and caring environment that is nurtured by all in the school community; and partnerships with the community to improve student learning.
